Qualified Attorney

Prior to opening his own office, Rene Cespedes worked as a prosecuting attorney in California for three years, and as a King County Prosecutor for seven years. As a Senior prosecutor, he handled complex criminal felony trials in State Superior Court. In 1999, Rene left the prosecutors office and was a founding member of the Bellevue law firm, Cespedes and Griffin. He then left the firm and opened his new office still dedicated to criminal defense and focused on personal attentive service to clients.

Rene’s primary focus has been DUI defense but he has represented hundreds of clients on other types of charges. He believes in educating his clients, and strives to provide an honest and realistic picture of what they’re facing, best and worst case scenarios right from the start. Years of first prosecuting then defending criminal cases provided Rene with a comprehensive understanding of how the system works, which has proven invaluable in formulating effective strategies. When you combine this experience with the personal attention to clients and their cases you will get the best outcome possible.

Numerous grateful clients, pleased with the favorable outcome of their cases have been impressed by the respect with which Rene is treated by other legal professionals and the Court.
